After attaining MBBS degree from Govt Medical college, Eranakulam worked as a junior doctor in the department of neurosurgery at Ananthapuri Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram for 5 years. Then he joined for post graduation in general surgery in Trivandrum Medical College. He has interest in literature, basic science and public health. He own a blog named "Vellanadan Diary" which is active since 2012. He published a book named "Venus Fly Trap" (collection of short stories). He has won Tunjan endovement, Thakazhi story award, CV Sreeraman story award, TA Razak story award and many for his literary activities.
