Purushothaman is now working as Professor of pediatrics government medical college Thrissur, Kerala. He was born in Kannur, did MBBS in Kozhikkode Medical college and Post graduation in Kozhikkode and Thiruvanathapuram Medical Colleges. His areas of interest are teaching and treating kids.
